Governing bodies of
Airport "Rzeszów-Jasionka" Ltd. are
pleased to announce that Jet Air, a Polish regional airlines, are launching a new
summer timetable connections from the Airport Rzeszów-Jasionka to Gdansk.
Jet Air will
support this route for the period from 25 June to 29 August 2010. During the
holiday flights will be held twice a week every Friday and Sunday. Direct
flight from the capital of Podkarpackie to Gdansk will last just one hour and
forty minutes.
Stanisław Nowak,
CEO of Airport "Rzeszów-Jasionka", has said: - We are happy that our
talks with Jet Air were successfully concluded and the carrier will run flights
from Rzeszow to Gdansk. We shall also, whether these connections
seasonal formula proves to be interesting enough for the passengers, that it
might be worth it to be extended to the whole year. I think that the people of Podkarpackie and Pomorskie regions, thus
gaining a fast and easy access to places where travel by land for many years
was a long and cumbersome. Together with the Podkarpackie Marshal's Office and
the Office of the City of Rzeszów also working on an appropriate promotion of
the merger, which - I hope - will be effective.
Krzysztof Wicherek,
CEO of Jet Air, said: - After several years the two towns recover the direct
connection. Together with partners from the Airport in
Rzeszów is the connection open during the holiday season hoping to attract
those who want to quickly and comfortably get to the seaside resorts on Baltic
Sea. For the purpose of this movement have
adjusted the prices: Tickets are already available from 199 zlotys to one side
in the offer of regular, and for 150 zlotys in the tariff olejkolej.com
