Five million Ryanair passengers in Jasionka!

Today, the 5 millionth passenger of Ryanair airline was checked in at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. The lucky passenger was Maciej Pyra, who on that day travelled from the capital of the Subcarpathian region to London.

Europe's largest low-cost carrier made its debut in Rzeszów in 2005 with a flight to London Stansted, expanding its offer to other foreign destinations in the following years. The largest number of passengers on Ryanair's planes (433,000) travelled to and from Rzeszów in 2018.

- I hope that we will see the next million Ryanair passengers at our airport even faster. We are holding regular talks with the carrier to launch new, attractive routes - says Adam Hamryszczak, CEO of Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport.

To celebrate the serving of the 5 millionth traveller, all the participants of Monday's flight no. FR2137 to London were treated to a commemorative cake. The jubilee passenger is an inhabitant of Jarosław. He travelled to the capital of Great Britain with his whole family to visit his father, who lives there, and his friends, as he himself had worked in England for 10 years. He received a valuable gift from the airline: a voucher for two tickets to and from Rzeszów on any route operated by Ryanair.
